Do you know someone that has gone the Extra Mile in your community? Has a person selflessly helped another individual or organization and life is better because of it? Then Lujack's wants their name!
Each week someone will be presented $500 for going above and beyond every day life to help another person or organization. We will contact the winner and arrange WQAD to film them receiving their check from a Lujack's representative. This Extra Mile award ceremony will be aired the following Thursday during the 6:30pm newscast and then again during the WQAD newscast on Friday morning.

Extra Mile Rules:
1) Eligibility - The Lujack Extra Mile program is designed to reward people of all ages who have taken their time and/or resources to enhance the lives of other people or organizations around them. An Extra Mile winner can be, but is not limited to an individual person, group, organization or business. Winner must be a legal U.S. resident of the WQAD viewing area or be a group, organization, or team located in WQAD's viewing area.
2) How to Nominate - There are 3 ways to make a nomination for this program. Individuals can log onto www.lujack.com/site/extra_mile or www.wqad.com/community/extramile/ and complete the online nomination form. Individuals can also obtain a nomination form at any Lujack Showroom.
3) The Extra Mile entries are reviewed by a Lujack Extra Mile committee weekly with winners chosen based on their accomplishments that go over and above their normal duties or activities.
4) Nominations will be kept for 12 months or the duration of this promotion. If an entry isn't chosen it will remain in our database so a duplicate entry is not needed.
5) A nominee can only win once per 12 month period.
6) Conditions of Acceptance of Prize - The winner individually or a representative of the winning group, organization or team must accept the prize. Driver's license or other appropriate picture identification and, if applicable, proof of association with the group, organization, or team are required to claim a prize. The adequacy of such proof is within Lujack's Northpark Auto Plaza's discretion. Each winner will be solely responsible for any and all local, state, and federal taxes. Lujack's Northpark Auto Plaza will report winnings to the Internal Revenue Service, as required. Each winner will receive a Form W-9 from Lujack's Northpark Auto Plaza that must be returned within 3 days. Each person submitting a nomination and each winner agrees to the use of his/her/its name and likeness in publicity without any additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. Each person submitting a nomination and each winner acknowledges that WQAD, Lujack's and all other sponsors and venues have the right to publicize and broadcast their names, voices and likenesses, the fact that the individual, team organization won and all matters incidental thereto.
7) The winning nominee must be available for to tape a WQAD TV segment before the next show on Thursdays.
8) Lujack employees are eligible to win if their proceeds go to an organization deserving of the award.
