Thankfully before I finalized that deal, I was able to have my local mechanic look over the car and catch an oil leak, which was to be fixed by replacing the head gasket. I walked away from that deal and after continued research, landed on the 2024 model that seemed to have the initial quirks worked out. After over a month of research, I realized I would need to go outside of my home state to find a new 2024 for the best deal. Brian and Brice at Smart Luxury Motors (Volkswagen Quad Cities) provided truly top quality service. Living 12 hours away, I was able to see a current video of the vehicle, negotiate on price, and ask all my questions via text and phone call. After a couple days and feeling good about the deal, I flew up to see the vehicle and test drive in person. Brian had the vehicle detailed with a big red bow on top, ready for my arrival (picture included). I was picked up from the airport, given an hour to take the car for a test drive on my own and even taken through a local restaurant drive thru on my shuttle back to the airport. The hospitality was superb, the process was smooth and there was no bait and switch. Buying out of town could be nerve wracking but Smart Luxury Motors made it simple - even sending a pamphlet of documents for me to take to my local government center to title the vehicle in my state, pay my taxes and finalize county registration. My only complaints are: - Brian promised me a couple of cosmetic fixes that were not completed (I was not surprised because he did not put it in writing - but was disappointed that he didn’t keep his word). - I requested a fresh oil chance since the vehicle was almost 11 months old, so I wouldn’t have to face an oil chance right after buying a brand new car. I was informed by Brian that it would not need an oil change until 10,000 miles (only had 967 on it) and to wait until the car alerted me to do the oil change. As I thought, I’ve had the vehicle for about 3 weeks and it is telling me it will need an oil chance by or before June 12, 2025. I really wish the dealership would have set me up with a fresh change, knowing the vehicle had been sitting on their lot for almost a year and saving me from having to cash in one of the manufactures 2 free oil changes (for being a new car) so early in my ownership. - The vehicle was not filled up with gas. - The vehicle was filthy after receiving delivery off the transport truck, so I immediately had to take it for a $50 car wash (pictures included). None of these were the end of the world for me because they were minimal in the grand scheme of things. I still stand by a 5 star review and would recommend friends, family, and strangers alike to buy from Brian at Smart Luxury Motors in Davenport, IA. I would make the same decision again in a heartbeat!

Everyone at the dealership was easy to deal with, very helpful & my car was fixed in less than a day! Communication was excellent as to what was going on with my car and how to fix it!

I told a 12 year old Audi with lots of modifications to them, and they were extremely helpful and great with their communication!! Being an older car and being slightly in the rare side parts are not always easy to find, they had everything that I needed within two days and provided me with a loaner vehicle while the work was being done! Creighton was very helpful with amazing communication through the whole process. I had the opportunity to talk with my technician Mitch and talk with him about what I had going on with my vehicle and and certain ways that I would like for my alignment to be done, over all an amazing experience and I would recommend anyone to take their vehicle there for service!!

Amazing service. Had to change the steering rod and they completed it in 3 hours and still provided a nice loaner. All the team is great

Fantastic service! Not only did they quickly figure out what was going on with my VW Tiguan, but they also had it fixed and ready quickly! The staff was amazing and friendly- they even did all the work to call about my warranty when it was through another local dealer. The best part? I scheduled an appointment online for my first oil change and tire rotation on my 2023 Nissan Platinum Armada. Jessi at the counter made sure my visit was comfortable. I mentioned to her I had some online paperwork to finish along with my lunch. She stated no problem and seated me in a quiet private space during my wait. She also came back through to check on me. I enjoyed a complimentary pop with my lunch. Well, I hope they were complimentary because I sure took one out of the cooler next to the coffee machine. Lol! Thanks, Smart Luxury! My wife and I were shopping used cars and came across a vehicle we were interested in at Smart Luxury. I contacted the dealership by phone and spoke to Marco to verify availability and he had the vehicle waiting for us out front by the time we got there. Wife loved the car and we were ready to buy. I’ve bought many cars in the last 25-30 years and when I enter a dealership I expect to do battle. This however was one of the best experiences I’ve had, no hassle, no pressure and no bs. We bought a used Ford from a Mercedes dealership but it could have been a new S Class, we were treated just the same. Marco and the finance manager Michael were a pleasure to work with. When I stopped back in for a few things, Darius was quick to jump in and lend a hand. We were traveling to Peoria via I-80 in Iowa when suddenly we encountered a problem with the suspension on our 2019 GLS 550 making the vehicle extremely difficult to drive. Fortunately we located the local Mercedes dealer, Smart Luxury Motors of Quad Cities. We spoke with Allan Pairrett, the service advisor. Allen was amazing.
